I am against McCain largely for the same reasons as Will.

The problem is the Dems are largely supporting McCain's ideas as well. They might not go against the 527s because of their own specific interests but they supported the original bill, and are likely to support other future restrictions.

Also as tom clarke said "They'll get off their hands when they start imagining Speaker Pelosi."

I just hope McCain isn't the candidate. I think he might be better in some ways than Bush, I like certain things about him, but his core issue is one where I am in total disagreement.
