I think there could be a good chance to write QCOM calls this coming thursday and friday. If I wasn't already so over weight in QCOM, I'd risk a buy/write right about now. The risk as I see it is that QCOM is not a new story and is fairly widely held. They are expected to do well, and it's hard to know how much of the 'news' is already in the stock.

I am selling RMBS puts. Court case conclusion, probably as early as Monday but most certainly this week. Reasonably certain this will be a net positive to the stock, or at worst not much of a net negative. I'm also long RMBS, and may very well have shares called away at 40, 45, & 50.

This is not a recommendation to do anything. Stay with what's comfortable to you.

EDIT: A buy/write on INTC might be okay here.
