Slider:

I note that in your otherwise excellent analysis of the forces driving us towards war, fascism, and national bankruptcy you carefully avoid any mention of the immensely wealthy and powerful Israel lobby which many of us feel is the primary force behind these trends.

AIPAC -- not the oil industry -- is leading the charge for a US attack on Iran just as they did prior to the invasion of Iraq.

Peace in the world is out of the question unless this sinister dual-loyalist lobby is taken down a few pegs by an outraged populace IMHO.

The short, and really the only solution is term limits.....

Entrenchment develops whores, who willingly sell off the jewels.

'remember how great America was before George W Bush?'

I say that very often to ordinary people everywhere... you know... working folks... and I get some very painful comments and looks

"But, America and especially longtime Republicans are finally starting to wake up...(admittedly, much too late)."

I too think many are awake or waking and the entire repub party may take a beating next election

unless the diebold voting machine conspiracy is true

"Was there really a choice in America's best interest in either campaign between Bush #41, or #43 vs. Clinton/Gore and Carey?"

Yes, there was. A big one.
BTW his name is Kerry.

It's about time you came around, but to late to matter.

I'm a Republican that had that Ahole pegged a year before he was elected the first time.

And don't say the Dems didn't have anything better to offer. There is no candidate from any party in the history of the world that would have been worse.
