The attack ads aren't hard to predict, coming from challengers with no voting records : "Joe Incumbent voted for x spending bills with xxxx pork barrel goodies that ran up the federal deficit. He voted to raise the federal debt ceiling. He voted against an investigation into the Bush administration's misuse of intelligence before the Iraq invasion." And so on and so on. I think those national themes will resonate this year. You can be sure that the Democrats will do all they can to nationalize the elections and make them about Bush.
