At my community, which is unincorporated at this point, we have a small shopping center with one row of stores including a grocery, a deli, a real estate office, a pizza place, hardware store, and video/gift store, all run by locals who put their life on the line years ago. They keep us from having to drive fifteen miles to get essentials.

Those little stores are going to have a hard time because a millionaire is putting up a more modern shopping center next door to the little boardwalk outpost center. I like the sound of my shoes on the boardwalk, so I'm sort of dreading the new center even though it will help the value of my house a lot.

If it weren't for the little video store that I want to help stay in business, I'd switch to Netflix.

I'm just about ready to cancel my membership with Netflix. For the third time in a row movies they say they shipped have not arrived. Eventually this will become a liability to me. I don't want to be associated with lost DVDs or come under any type of scrutiny.

If it happens again, I'm out of there.

In fact I think I'll go cancel right now.

edit...Done!
