I wonder how much of this price hike is war talk, and how much is fundamentals. There is no question that supply and demand is still tight for oil.

This strength in gold and the Euro may reflect the fact that the Bushies are threatening to freeze Iranian assets.

As soon as i saw this story over the weekend I knew gold would jump today.

My caution on gold was predicated on reason prevailing re: Iran.

Absent that the sky is the limit at least in the short-term.
