NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Earthlink Inc. (ELNK) Chief Executive Garry
Betty said rollouts of the company's new Internet phone and high-
speed DSL bundled services in additional markets have been delayed
about a quarter, reducing sales and marketing expense expectations
for the year.

EarthLink, in partnership with Covad Communications Group Inc.
(DVW), plan to offer the bundled service in eight markets, including
L.A., New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, San Diego, Philadelphia,
and Washington, D.C.

"We expect the first of these additional markets to be completed in
the third quarter of 2006, with the remaining markets targeted to
launch by the end of the year," Betty said, speaking on a call with
analysts to discuss first-quarter financial results.

For the full year, EarthLink said it now expects bottom-line results
between a loss of $40 million and break-even on revenue of $1.33
billion to $1.38 billion, ahead of the Wall Street forecast of $1.26
billion.
