The woman went into a tirade about how we were in a county that didn't have a leash law, and she didn't have to pick up after her dog, and if we didn't like it to move some where else, etc. etc. She was still ranting as she rounded the corner out of sight, while our moving crew was laughing so hard they could hardly eat their lunch. One of them asked my wife if it was OK if he took a dump in our driveway too. We all laughed about it as we ate our pizza.

My solution would have been to follow her and find out where she lives.

The "deposit" and any subsequent "deposits" would have ended up on her front porch, without bag.

By the way, what the hell does she think a leash law has to do with being a good neighbor and cleaning up after one's pet? Last time I checked, the presence of a leash around his neck never stopped my dog from taking a dump.

MM, your conventional "wisdom" is different from mine: <Conventional "wisdom" would peg a woman like that as a rightwinger redneck, or maybe a libertarian. No leash law is the ultimate in freedom from government, right?>

My stereotype of such people is that they are "entitled" left wingers who think the world, [aka other people], owes them a living.

A Libertarian would not crap on other people or their property, or destroy, or pollute, communal property. It's possible she was a right wing redneck [depending on your definition of that].

Libertarians want freedom from people like her and are happy to have laws and enforcement to protect others against people like that.

Dog owners tend to such sociopathic behaviour so I guess dog owners are generally left-wing entitlement people who steal OPM.

They use their dogs as weapons against others - a way of being aggressive without actually doing it themselves. Of course, as with all generalizations, not all are like that. Once upon a time I saw a dog which wasn't eating children and pooping in public. The owner wasn't snarling at passersby. Heck, some of my best friends have had dogs so I'm not racist against dogs and their owners.
