It's the national credit card problem. Let the next generation pay for it....and when China and Japan own us, we'll worry about the ramifications then. No spending restraint in Congress. The WSJ editorial last week absolutely pillering Jerry Lewis and the Republican budget-busters is symbolic of where we stand...even the traditional fiscal conservatives have had as much as they can take with this Congress....and Administration.

But where do they go? Who do they support as an alternative?

There seems a complete disconnect over the present deficits, the outlook for future deficits and any kind of spending controls and/or tax solutions. Where is the sacrifice usually required on citizens in wartime? It's the old guns and butter pitch, but not focusing on the inflation danger but instead on incessent borrowing.
