Florida has become way too over-populated, that's its problem. And almost everyone wants to live on the coasts.

Gore was the champion of the huge Everglades recovery plan. I don't know the details, but it was a huge plan and was very well-meaning. The villains, I've heard, are the sugar cane producers who have a stranglehold on the GOP and get all kinds of corporate welfare. True?

That's stupid. Y'all need to pass an Open Beaches Act. By no means does it solve the problem, but it keeps idiots from building in an incredibly stupid area, in front of the dunes.
