I was at a stoplight today on highway 82 headed towards Aspen. To my left was a Toyota Prius. We were both the first in the line. I was late to an appointment and driving a Ford Ranger pickup with a V-6 engine.

I pulled off at the green light accelerating as hard as the Ford would go.

The Prius to the left matched me off the line and pulled ahead of me accelerating faster (much) than I did. He stayed ahead of me. I kept pushing and before I knew it was doing 80 in a 65 zone with him still pulling away.

Shit. Whats he got under that hood? Radium-Ion cells?

True story. Got a witness. Andy was with me.
