CENTCOM has bases and logistical facilities in Iraq, Kuwait, Djbouti, Afghanistan, Uzbekhistan, Qatar, Oman, Georgia, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Diego Garcia, Egypt, Kenya, and we're allied with Israel, Pakistan, and every other "Stan" I can think of. And I'm leaving out quite a bit, no doubt. How on God's green earth could we be said to be "ignoring" Iran? We've got them surrounded, for Chrissake! They breathe funny, we swat them. Same thing with North Korea, as far as that goes.
