If another entity takes over some of your management functions and some of your risk, they also take some of your profit. Part of the risk calculation. Before the entity is selected a calculation of expected return is done and compared with another. Incompatence, poor judgement, and random chance that things developed in this way or that and remain that way due to inertia or secondary benefit. But you haven't made a case that that's what's occurring. It's just a prejudice of your's. Not at all it could be for the reasons stated in the immediately prior response. The one where you haven't done due diligence but have strong opinions built on prejudices?
