We're "ignoring" Iran? How do you figure that?

CENTCOM has bases and logistical facilities in Iraq, Kuwait, Djbouti, Afghanistan, Uzbekhistan, Qatar, Oman, Georgia, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Diego Garcia, Egypt, Kenya, and we're allied with Israel, Pakistan, and every other "Stan" I can think of. And I'm leaving out quite a bit, no doubt.

How on God's green earth could we be said to be "ignoring" Iran?

We've got them surrounded, for Chrissake! They breathe funny, we swat them.

"Israel, the occupying power has been relentless in its grave breaches of international law, including the willful killing and injury of civilians and the practice of extrajudicial executions,"

Consider how few countries in the world will say to the Palestinians, "You got some nerve, buddy. How dare you declare that you have an absolute right to target and kill Israeli civilians but it's a war crime if they kill any of yours? And let's not visit YOUR practice of extrajudicial executions! What about the Arab guy in Jerusalem who was just tortured to death because he was accused of selling land to a Jew?"

And yet, how can places that won't say it ever fight Islamic terrorism? Not to say it is to grant the Palestinians (and by extension, Hizbullah and Al Qaeda) the right they demand for themselves, that is, to demand that international law be binding only on their opponents.
