Gib, I do not care if anyone reads what I write. There is a great story of when Einstein and that great inventor Thomas Edison came to America together. Thousands of people met them at the boat and were cheering loudly when einstein looked at Edison and asked: "what does all this mean"? Edison remarked: " absolutely nothing"!

I understand that concept cold!!

I do not like to take the time to figure out how to correclty spell words as long as people can understand them. Some of this may be becasue I am a poor speller and it is stressful and unecessary.

I think it is much more important that an english teacher understands existentialism than knows how to spell it. Computer spell checks can do that.

Take any paragraph and mix up all the letters in each word except the first and the last. You will not have any trouble reading it.

As mentioned I am not a very good speller, but when I am writing I am concentrating on the concept and logic I want to organize. Time magazine a week or so ago had a great article on the myth of multi tasking. Doing two things at once greatly reduces the ability to do either.

Psychology also has known for years that intervening thought greatly reduces memory.

Keeping my logic in tact is much more important to me. It does always amaze me how many people care if a word is spelled corrrectly?

It sort of remeinds me of the people who are fat and out of shape, smoke cigarettes but have imaculate houses and gardens.

I say let the house and garden go and get on a diet and go jogging-lol.

My wonderful mother used to say: I can either clean the house again or I can read a book. She is my heroin. Born in abject poverty and one of 12 children and no education past high school, but by reading and on hr own she figure the wolrd out as best as anyone I know.
