I respectfully... not really disagree, but rather... think differently. Looking at SPX I see choppy action in all time frames, from weekly to hourly. Almost every new high since January 2004 was a better sell signal than a breakout buy. Indeed, the index (on log) is still playing with the resistance line which (roughly) connects the tops ever since Jan 2004. Since the last Nov top MACD and RSI show a steady pattern of bearish divergences. The trend is undoubtedly up, but there is really no sign of anything parabolic as yet.

What can I say... Plato amicus, sed magis amica veritas. If I can't trust my eyes, I have a larger problem than standing to lose some money.... -bg.

I have no freaking idea what we bet (other than steaks).
Was there a timeframe?
Refresh my memory.
At first glance I might be inclined to take it.
But post the original bet.
