Ritalin (methylphenidate hyrochloride) is a Schedule Two drug.

"High potential for abuse"

Ritalin was invented in a laboratory at Johns Hopkins in 1950.

It is a stimulant drug with a chemical structure almost identical to the other three major stimulant drugs--amphetamine, methamphetamine, and cocaine.

Ritalin has over twenty side-effects on the heart.
It also attacks the nervous system (as do all the drugs of its type).

At one time Ritalin was approved by the FDA for WEIGHT LOSS.

Can you imagine giving a growing kid a drug that harms his heart and nervous system while his body is still forming and growing?
