I think there's something really wrong with the psyche of the human species. I always return to the idea that the more education a woman has, the fewer children she has. I've heard that this is true across all cultures. There's something really bizarre about this. Is the human species inherently self-destructive? Do we couple a greater understanding of reality with a desire to not live in this reality? Are we simply better off being dumb? If everyone was brilliant, would we decide that we didn't want enough children to replace ourselves so we would eventually peter out?
