I remember being asked to invest in gasahol as a tax scam when jimmy was prez. Carter had negative gravitas. He tried to sell the american people an acceptance of economic stagflation as something morally beneficial. He sucked.

Bull.
We are in Iraq today because neither Clinton nor Bush 41 had the guts to take out Saddam before al Qaeda was born. And we are there because Carter failed miserably to deal with the birth of Islamic terrorism.
