Certainly Q lost the great advantage of proprietary control and architecture of the standard. Still the growing royalties roll in and will continue as long as Q's patent protected technology provides the enabling interface. Future ofdm devices will require a cdma component for many, many years to come. True -- not a Moore defined complete gorilla but tell me of a company that is closer (x-MSFT of course).

Exactly why the Q is even Eric's top wireless pick even though he himself would probably not admit it. <vbg>
