Richard Chamberlain is too pretty. He played an old trapper in the TV miniseries of Michener's "Centennial." That rubbed me the wrong way. I'm an old trapper myself, and pretty just don't cut it with us. The only thing I remember about Cruise's Mission Impossible was the bad guy flying a helicopter down the subway tunnel. That was so preposterous it ruined the rest of the movie for me. Another thing that ruined it was Jim Phelps turning out to be a bad guy. I didn't watch ten years of MI on TV to have that happen.
