TGPTNDR, on Intel CC

I think that was the toughest CC I've ever heard INTC face.

They faced it with a considerable amount of grace, though. I was impressed.

This table is for you ;-) and Andy Bryant:

AMD CPU 730 750 767 969 1307 1299
INTC CPU 6966 6861 6659 7267 7329 6239
TOTAL CPU 7696 7611 7426 8236 8636 7538

AMD CPU% 9.49 9.85 10.33 11.77 15.13 17.23
INTC CPU% 90.51 90.15 89.67 88.23 84.87 82.77
TOTAL CPU% 100 100 100 100 100 100

Forget the CC's, Revshare trends show whats happening in the marketplace.

Note: AMD's Revshare has increased significantly in each of the past 5 quarters from 9.49% in Q4/04 to 17.23% in the just finished Q1.

Gross margins reinforce the Revshare trends with AMD's GM now at 58.5% vs. INTC's at 55%!
