A bunch of career politicians (which is what generals are) do not show up running a very media-savvy political campaign (which is what we are seeing) just by pure happenstance.

This was an obvious rehearsed campaign.

My point was that when similarly situated--almost cookie-cutter--parties behave in like ways, you can't rule out happenstance let alone demonstrate conspiracy. Of course, you can suspect whatever you choose to suspect...
