It's not in MSM because it's not mainstream media reporting. Although admirable for its description and support for the marines, especially efforts to award marines combat ribbons for coming into contact with roadside bombs, IED weapons, the article is essentially only one-sided reporting.

Is this what you wish for the MSM, one-sided reporting only?

This article appears like one witten by soldiers for inclusion into the Iraqi press (see below link), or it was written with an aim more for a Stars and Stripes-like media, or possibly for inclusion as an op-ed piece.
