Do you honestly think that the MSM would actually print the POV of active or retired generals who came out against Clinton or his Sec of Defense? And if they did, do you honestly think they would print their POV uncritically like they did with those who smeared & lied about Rumsfeld?

No, they wouldn't. And if they did, it would not make hysterical headlines for several days. It would be buried deep inside of the news. They would portray those generals as a tiny, tiny minority of disgruntled troublemakers with an axe to grind. Then they'd look into their background & report every damning piece of evidence they could find to discredit them.

They'd give the story proper context rather than print just the general's side of the story & nothing else. Then they'd question their actions considering we are at war. Then they'd line up several dozen other generals who express complete support & plaster their POV on the front page.

But then Clinton was a Democrat & Bush is a Republican, so that explains why the story got reported the way it did.
