I said something like this some 40 years ago. The flag is a symbol of what each individual wants it to be. Its his right to protest and argue his point. The left generally is sympathetic to this view i imagine. FYI i still get pissed off when air force planes fly over stadiums during football games. Cant help it. Its my own vietnam legacy but for me its been largely trumped by my 9/11 legacy.
