Govt should compel those folks who can work to take these jobs. If they are getting more from welfare, their minimum wage incomes should be subsidized to those levels by the state who stand to save money by chipping in this way. Most employers only take the risk these guys did, because its that or going out of business. Lets get the unemployed to take these jobs with subsidies. How does that sound? It sounds win/win to me if these folks are willing to work hard for their money, both wages and the subsidy.
