Very well put. Back when our parents and grandparents came to this country, the country itself was more wide open, less populated. The world has changed and we, the United States, haven't done enough to change with it with regards to the immigration situation. Like I tried but didn't quite make my point clearly enough before (again, sorry about that)these raids are like closing the barn door after the livestock have left. These crackdowns on the people hiring the illegals is something we should have done years and years ago. I don't have a problem with people wanting to come and be citizens of the U.S. They need to go through the legalization process though and not sneak into the country.
