In the words of jessie jackson (not really) we need to normalize and rationalize. First step--end the automatic citizenship. First step, allow the parents of american kids to stay. Cant undo what is already done. Those kids are ours, just as much as yours are. Next get rid of coyotes by allowing guest workers who conform to rigid id process. Let Mexicans go both ways across the borders and you lose the coyotes so a mexican worker can come here for the picking season, and then go back to mexico and return again in the spring. Makes sense to me. Also the open border becomes much less of a threat as a crossing point if you use legal crossings and strict id requirements.
