I think this is becoming a old story with even the Congressional Republicans agreeing that going to war in Iraq was a mistake. I hear them singing the same tune as Kerry did "I voted for it before I voted against it." It now remains to be seen when W will come on board singing the Kerry tune. I presume Bolton will teach Bush how to sing that song.

Kerry has also said that a good number of US troops died in Viet Nam after the political leadership agreed that Viet Nam was a mistake. Let us see if the W Administration will prove that to be true in the case of Iraq.

Continue the inspections and up the ante on Saddam...not the status quo as you so painstakingly spun.

Working with the community of nations. All of this was possible prior to the invasion, and the inspectors were getting access...and not finding any thing...just as we didn't find anything for the last three years.

The fact that none were found proves that Saddam was cooperating to a large degree and that the sanctions while not perfect were working.

This is getting so tiresome talking about the same stuff over and over.

Look the war has not gone well either. Three years now and we are still spilling precious blood. What's your answer? Stay the course. Well that is exactly what we should have done with the inspections and sanctions. Got better at it and stayed the course.

We've solved nothing with the war, except the life plans of millions of Iraqis. Thousands upon thousands are now dead. Nothing accomplished at all. Many families in grief for the rest of their lives...for what?

Funny that I saw these bumper stickers on a car yesterday:

BUSH CHENEY 2004. and next to it a more recent one. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS BRING THEM HOME.

This can happen only in California. And soon we will start to see such stickers all over the US.
