But seriously, believing in the existence of the paranormal doesn't require a suspension of elementary logic. Belief just substitutes for science.

On the other hand, positing that 9-11 was a government conspiracy requires a decoupling of logic neurons from the higher level deductive reasoning region of the cerebral cortex. It's a clearly a disorder of cognition.
