911 could have been prevented if we had benefitted from some consciousness raising event prior to the collapse of the trade towers that would have made it acceptable to round up and incarcerate the kind of guys who perpetrated that crime. 911 could have been prevented if the HQ FBI personnel would have paid attention to what the FBI fields agents were telling them. Instead they ignored the warnings because it was just too much effort for them to get a warrant from the FISA court. jttmab

Do you support rounding up people now who cross the Mexican border illegally I'm first in line. Do you have a problem understanding the meaning of the word "illegal"? (About 9/13, I figured out that, if I was trying to sneak Arab terrorists into the US, I'd teach them Spanish and bring them over the border. They get caught, they go back to "go" and try again) :>) Could 911 have been prevented? ?? Could the effects have been mitigated? Probably.Almost certainly if the second or third planes had been shot down by our alert air defenses.
