I've got more than a few friends in that category including family members. They reassured themselves, however, that Gore would carry Jersey without their vote. And he did.

You are so right on. I know a great many people who chose to waste their vote and voted for Nader. If there had been just two candidates Gore would have gotten their vote...

Wasted election...

I voted absentee and learned later that because I had not had the ballot WITNESSED it was invalid... Bummer.
