The France reaction to Muslims is very similar to the one in the UK......the Muslims are segregated. Its not a class thing or they would be living in the poorer arrondissements of Paris. They are segregated in the suburbs because they are poor AND Muslim. Class is becoming less of an issue in Europe and the color of one's skin more. That's why the Dutch are flocking to British Columbia.......not to escape the poor of the Netherlands but the Muslims.
