That's just a plain lie. You're imagining things. "DLC types" are solidly behind Murtha and Kerry's plans to withdrawl/redeploy ASAP. Only discredited hawks like Lieberman have not seen the light and as a result he will likel;y be thrown out of office. As for Hillary Clinton, she's a world unto herself. But don't read too much into that. A new poll shows she actually has very little support inside the democratic party, despite those polls. In fact, I would say she is the Joe Lieberman of 2008, the early frontrunner who will fade out of the picture. One more thing, the evidence is coming out that the White House used Pat Roberts to show the senate false and misleading intel on Iraq's supposed WMD programs and ties to AL Qaida. The senate and congress did NOT see the same intel the CIA and Bush-Cheney saw. That intel was heavily edited. So give "on the fence" types like Kerry here a break. Because if Saddam really did have huge stockpiles of WMD and ties to Al Qaida we were right to be very tough with him. But of course it turned out to be all BS.
