Sold NOK this morning. It can only go down from here. Figure it would drop between 10-15% from today's High. Buy the dips to trade during 2Q.

Warning: You are entering the optimist's zone!!!

Eric, your summary of EPS upgraded forecasts from analysts was soooo interesting and nice to read - thanks much. Nokia made $1.03 per share for 2005. With analysts now looking at the possibility of '06 EPS in the $1.40 range, they're projecting about 36% EPS growth for this year. And Credit Suisse, projecting '07 EPS in the $1.57 to $1.63 range, is expecting about another 18% growth for '07.

Now the good part. Assuming a very reasonable P/E of 22 for '06 X $1.32 to $1.45 EPS gives a potential price of about $29 to 32 at year-end!!! Furthermore, assuming a P/E upgrade to 23, yields a target price of $30.40 to $33.40. And at 23 P/E, the Credit Suisse '07 EPS implies the possibility of a Nokia price of $36 to $37.50 by year-end '07!!!

Is there an investment around with better potential? All this from one quarter's earnings report - scary.
