TJ,
I think your FXE is a good idea too. The bond funds, BEGBX, FAX, FCO, GIM ect. are not working too well these days or at least not like they did in 2002-2003. GIM has been showing a little life lately and maybe that is a good indicator for FXE.

I have some of the leveraged weak dollar RYWBX but yikes are the expenses high.

I didn't sell any PM's yesterday and now wish I had bought instead. I think I will add some GLD.

Coal is hot too and I have a bunch of PVR, most of it from shortly after the IPO. Thought of selling several times but now glad I didn't. Sometimes its just good to stick to your convictions, like you are now doing with gold/silver. <grin>

G632 = look at those naked Aztecs go. Prancing, dancing, whooping and positively cheering around their bonfire. They have found the magical elixir of wealth and happiness.

A third of the way to $2000. That's the hard third. Meanwhile, Big Ben says he's not inclined to raise interest rates. What is he thinking? He had better raise interest rates and do it soon and good and hard. The bloody natives are going nuts. Time to show them what the dollar is really about. Surely the dollar is about something better than 4.75% when the war-whooping yokels are expecting revolution and overthrow of the mightiest currency ever to stride Earth. Whack it up to 6% in one step and see what they think of that!!!

Then belt them a month later with 7%.

And again with another 1% each month until they shut up.

Mqurice

PS: Hopefully the angry, shouting, mob of disaffected home "owners" aka "mortgagors in deep debtor doo-doo" rampaging outside their local Congressor's office door and house won't make Big Ben or King George II chicken. Surely they won't let those Aztec barbarians at the gates succeed in their desire to bring down the Mighty $$$. What about the Patriot Act and Homeland Security, surely they'll do something. Or FEMA.
