KeepItSimple, RE: the 5 million share secondary offering happened on the 31st of march so the dilutive impact of 5 million shares to the EPS was pushed off until next quarter.

What part of "basic math" do you not understand?


This one's particularly funny.

Because the GOOG stock offering is trading at a smaller earnings yield than the yield on the cash generated by the offering, the secondary isn't dilutive at all. It is accretive.
