The right has to convince me all over again that they have the wherewithall to think their way out of a paper bag. The left has to convince me that when shots are fired again and they will be, they will be fighting alongside me and not alongside them. I do not get that message from some of the left wing hyper posters re: the latter and re: the former there still are folks here who drink the spoiled, out of date KoolAid coming from the crummy rummy and shooter crowd. Thats about as clear as I can say how i feel. PS Pick the ingrediants for a new alcoholic beverage--the crummy rummy.

I hope the active duty military joins in this protest. We have retired Generals for the first time calling for the ouster of their boss. Remember they can be reactivated at any time so we now have military people actively campaigning for the head of the civilian elected leadership. This is a whole new chapter in American history and will be great fun to watch. If we want a preview of how this works we can look to such examples of wonder such Saddam's Iraq, Pinochet's Chile, Pakistan or any other run-of-the-mill banana republic. While you may think a politically active military is a cool thing because it right now agrees with your politics, it's f-ing insane, I don't know how else to put it. The founding fathers were very clear, the military was apolitical and worked for the civilian elected leadership, period. These folks on both sides of this issue need to STFU and I mean NOW!
