One can NOT just dream that they wil drive car, flight , washing machine etc without working!! Hu came and bought bunch of boeing airplanes this week eh - ramping up car dealerships all over china - taking away rice farmers land to build honda dealership in Pudong. Told CEO of starbucks he is happy with all the starbucks going up all over china - you know how many starbucks are going up in china? Currently, Chinese are allowing the crony-capitalism to co-exist and the effect of this crony-capitalism is that the cost of such decent life will be high. The Chinese will have to choose crony politicians or good life. We seem to have both in the USA. If you greatly increase PRODUCTIVITY - it only takes one SLAVE working the farm with a tractor and some oil to serve many overlords eh? China didn't have all the technology and productivity stuff - we giving it to them now. After they BUILD OUT and have ivory towers like us - we gonna pass the industrial manufacturing torch over to AFRICA so they can come into the modern age too. By that time we should have AI MACHINES and not need to ENSLAVE people anymore. They can NOT have both!! HAHA! BWAHAH! Oh YES THEY CAN!! Unless they are willing to fight the cronies, they have to work in the rice fields, use bicycles instead of cars, use oil burning lanterns instead of electric lamps. One man working old way like my grandpa - it took 20 kids working out in the field to feed themselves. Today - great productivity improvement - one SLAVE on tractor with oil fertilizer can feed 100. PRODUCTIVITY!! Are you saying, Chinese are willing to fight the cronies for the desent life? How many people you see in the USA watching OPRAH on tv everyday ready to fight thier corrupt politicians while they suck down another hamburger. Let us say there is a huge deflation in China and the In 1840's british invested in USA - usa states built out roads, canals, infrastructure - but there was not enough PEOPLE to tax to take advantage of all this development I think - so USA defaulted on debt owed to british - later on people filled in to USE all that infrastructure to capacity - that is not chinas problem today - they have the CITIZENRY to take advantage of a star gate atlantis city if it gets BUILT - and they are building it - PRODUCTIVITY! Japan revalued currency - steve hanke assures me China will not make this mistake - they will build stargate atlantis cities - and have the poor farmers to throw in them and make them PRODUCTIVE in NO TIME. No that is not what I see at all - they are saying look here RICE FARMER - I am gonna bring the miracle of technology/productivity to YOU - take your rice land away - bring you STARGATE ATLANTIS - now the tv show make ethical problems of giving all these dumg lower class citizens all this technology and productivity too fast - and they try to keep many people from getting the technology - but china gonna get it. This necessarily means, the left out guys have to work in rice field and use oil lantern. Do you think, the left-out population will fight for his dam/parthenon/township? I think it will be middleground. Some dams will be built, some protests will be satisified - lot of cronies will run with lot of corruption and runaway with the money!! what does this do to the demand? There will be lot of consumers stopping the consumption from their boom days. This number will be larger than those who benefit from the parthenon/dam deal. That is why deflations are so different!! Net demand falls. You will see the headlines as: Chinese prefer to stay hungry rather than fight the cronies. The 1.3B people demand is null now!!! TOTAL BULLSHIT - I could be out in the field like my grandpa with his pack animals plowing in the hot sun growin my carrots - I am here inside nice AC room on high tech computer network chatting up stargate atlantis - no human in the world want to be SLAVE to growing crops when he can live nice stargate atlantis life - china gonna build the infrastructure and those 800 million farmers kids gonna run around with cell phones, playing me you and general chen on deathmatch reading SI - not out sweating like suckers in the sun just for a cup of rice!!
