The ethics complaint against the Dem is a minor trumped-up blowback smear by the rightwing. Probably nothing out of the ordinary. 99% of the major corruption in congress is on the rightwing with Delay setting the example. DElay wouldn't have resigned unless he knew he's probably going to prison. But the Dems withdrew the guy anyway just to be 100% clean because We The People now have to start prosecuting all the dozens of corrupt rightwing congressmen villains and Dems in charge cannot be tainted.
