Bush has totally fumbled the ball on energy. He talks the talk but does little or nothing to do anything but let the gas gougers gouge away. That is because Bush is bought and paid for by the oil companies. Always has been. He serves them, not us. But even in Texas they now have $3 gas so even in his stronghold, the people are PISSED and know exactly who's to blame. Bush could bring down the gas prices 20% right away by making a single speech calling for windfall profits taxes and prison for anyone caught gas gouging, including the greedy fat cats at the head of the oil companies. Did you know Bush's energy bill still has 20 billion in tax breaks for big oil and other polluting energy producers? Outrageous. And he still has tax breaks for buying Hummers. What a disgrace. Bush-Cheney should be impeached by the GOP right now. No excuses for leaving these crooks in power any longer.
