Why do you think the AQ would fight us if we chased those assholes, flushed them out of their caves in the Pakistan-Afghan border. The statement I posted in my earlier message is one that I take serious objection. It is not an American value. I do not like my President or my fellow countryperson to show that utter disregard for the civilian life in any country. We liberate and we also protect. The US troops need to either pull out or confine themselves in barracks. If confining themselves in barracks would make them sitting ducks, then they need to pull out into barracks in Kuwait or Turkey (a NATO ally) or even Diego Garcia and wait there ready to move in. If civilian violence does not abate within two months of their withdrawl, then they could move in with a RDF. Right now we are stuck in a quagmire.
