re: I agree with you guys. I've got a buddy who insists his 42" Plasma is superior - but I'm convinced it's just because it's more expensive. I'm not sure they are more expensive, especially in the larger sizes. I think plasma is a bridge technology... it will eventually go away. One key is to get HD... that really makes a huge difference, on the limited channels. Problem is, like anything else, your eye gets used to HD and the other channels look like crap. You end up watching mediocre programing just because of the picture quality. John
