Thanks for that link LLL. An interesting read. One of my nephews, when watching the attacks in the USA on 11 Sept 2001, said to me "I'm watching the beginning of World War three". I was inclined to agree. I have never bought the cant that Islam is a religion of peace, which it clearly is not.

While one could argue about the actual beginning, 911 was quite a good marker, akin to the attack on Pearl Harbour as the beginning of the war with Japan, although conflict had been burgeoning for decades before that, as Japan expanded in murderous manner.

PS Sylvester is so off the wall that it's hard to know how to reply sensibly to him.

Imagine if, instead of Judaism-Christianity-Islam being born in that region, it was, like you know, Buddhism or, you know, maybe a secular society with no religion.

Gee.

He also has the argument backwards. If you educate, the birth rate declines. Also, if you have a right-wing totalitarian government like that of China, your birthrate can also decline but it really screws up the male/female ratio.

Laws are just convention. They aren't absolute and really only depend on circumstance. While it's quaint to think about the rule of law, in actuality those who are supposed to be about the rule of law are the ones usually breaking said rules of law. After all the Dubyettes are above all laws, God's and Man's.

Iran - vs - Global Warming - vs - Tactical Nukes - vs - Corporatism - vs - Human Stupidity.

Nope, Iran isn't the biggest threat going.

Democracy IS just free elections. The key is to have only those smart enough and educated enough and decent enough vote in those free elections and make everyone else stay at home. That calls into question all of those Floridians and Ohioans who are too stupid to walk and chew gum at the same time much less vote about anything more serious than where to eat lunch.

Amazing to see Christians support the murderers of Christ with such ferocity while letting other nations (mainly in Africa) burn in hell. Zionists must be laughing their ass off manipulating you Christian fundamentalist pinheads. Or maybe you are a murdering Zionist yourself? Or maybe you just drive a behemoth SUV and are pissed you have to pay $150 for every fill up? Maybe you should change your handle to SSSh*t for brains.
