Our intelligence situation has always been poor. If it weren't for Mossad and MI5&6 feeding us tidbits, we'd never know anything. The NSA hears everything, but you can't process everything. They haven't learned to edit or filter yet. We were late to the intelligence game and our only saving grace has been the fact that we competed with the equally no-nothing KGB. It is ridiculous the think that Bush could deal with anything named "intelligence." If they called it "ignorance," he'd be da man.
