I was told that when you look at a lot of these funds - they have been merged into other funds - this is to hide thier serious underperfomance. It is an old trick - www.fundalarm.com - he keeps up with this stuff. Some of these funds are bond funds - they haven't done so well in an environment where interest has went up eh?

The funds included - have they had poor performance the past 3,5, 10 years?

The move is intended to reduce investor confusion and help maintain fees at a competitive level,

Fees - that is always a good sign you are gonna pay more eh?
