I understand there's a blogger who claims the Great Depression never happened.

Who would that be? I read a guy named chromatic using rothbard and other well respected sources saying food dropped 50% but in the broad market housing didn't drop very much - even if la county dropped 55% and grandmas house dropped 80%.

As a man who adores undocumented nonsense, I knew you would want to know about this right away.

The research is sourced from some of the most highly respected economic minds - Elroy's grandma not included. He never said the great depression never happened, he never said LA county didnt have 100% price decline - he did say food went down a LOT across the board and the broad market in assets didn't fall all that much - but you want people to believe because LA county had a 55% decline in the depression that it hurt everyone everywhere else similarly - that is a flat lie. Many banks could go down today - many local bubble markets - that is why you diversify - do you have any other real estate besides LA county - do you diversify or put all your eggs in one county?
