Peter, I've been puzzling over your response and mine all afternoon.

That seems obvious. At 2.4 GHz, from Bluetooth to microwave ovens and phones, there are all kinds of emitters, many not sophisticated.

Are you saying potential receivers can overcome the effects of such interference? Or not be affected by it?

Receivers saturate in the sense that the information transmitted to them can't be extracted, because of spurious signals (or simple non-informational white noise).

Granted, there are many schemes to avoid interference, but at some point, there's nowhere to hop to, no clear channel, and no avoidable collision.

Apologies if there's something I haven't grasped, here.
