Eastman Kodak, Dow Chemical

Regli I think about 2 things relating to this silver hoarding.

First you are familiar with the initial centrifuges that helped make fatman and littleboy correct? The generals in charge got wall street to LIE to the general public to keep silver cheap so they could accumulate because it took a lot to make the first nuclear bombs - there was also a national security issue to keep the nazi's from knowing what we were doing. Some say nuclear bombs stopped the coming bloodshed that was certain with Japan because they had too much honor to yield - maybe it was all a lie and warmongers just wanted to test some new war toys. Some say we saved millions of lives that might have been lost on both sides in hand to hand combat. Now suppose there is technology that comes along that can cure aids (like nano silver advocates claim) and the poor blacks in africa don't have the money to pay for your dust collector - how does the silver ETF help them? Should we even care - screw those losers right? If they want our silver they better get productive and start bartering with us for things we want eh? No more freeloaders that suck down free donations from the gates foundation. You never had unprotected sex did you?

Secondly if I were a general wanting one stop shopping for some Silver - I would get all the cockroaches to come out with thier silver and send it to this central spot to be hoarded so they could paper trade it - then when I needed to make my centrifuge - instead of buying from thousands all over the country/world - I would have one source to go to with my sniper army corps to take the metal to help the gubbment cause. And just like that general did - I could use it - then after I was done put it back in that vault - how would you ever really know living thousands of miles away?

Where is this stuff stored? What would keep a captain nemo type from fronting this endeavor so he could get access to lots of silver to make cheap bombs to sell to highest bidder or make nuclear nautilus sub? Do you have a webcam or video connection where you can keep on eye on acutal physical stores? I watch oceans 11 movie where they face the webcam/video feed and wonder if even that would be enough - hehe.

I know this guy in france who was talking about making a machine to suck all the oxygen out of the planet and store it - and then only trade it out if you were a young virgin - why should the rest of us tolerate that? I never understood why avon wanted 100 million credits - he had the liberator and orac and soolin - what else does a man need? :)
